Jon P. Bordovsky
President
GBI Partners Leadership
Jon P. Bordovsky, a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, joined GBI in 2003 and became a partner in 2007. Mr. Bordovsky brings more than 20 years of office and field survey experience related to boundary, residential subdivision, engineering design, construction layout, and Texas municipal projects.

Mr. Bordovsky graduated from the University of Houston earning a degree of Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering Technology. He actively serves as the head of both the Construction Phase and Engineering Support Services, proving to be an invaluable resource for GBI.

James E. Dyer
Executive Vice President
GBI Partners Leadership
James “Jimy” Dyer joined GBI in 2004 and became a partner in 2007. Mr. Dyer brings more than 20 years of office and field surveying experience specializing in Construction Phase Management and works closely with field crews and technicians to ensure efficiency and quality. He has managed and engaged in a broad field of land-development surveying, subdivision platting, route surveying, right-of-way acquisition engineering design, Texas MUD creation, and construction layout.

He implements a “team mentality” approach to his collaboration with contractors, developers, engineers, planners and architects. His ability to maintain close and enduring relationships with our clients is vital to the success of GBI.

Kyle B. Duckett
Vice President
GBI Partners Leadership
Kyle B. Duckett, a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, joined GBI in 2013 and became a partner in 2014. Mr. Duckett brings more than 20 years of surveying experience throughout the greater Houston and San Antonio areas focused on residential, commercial, and industrial land development, right-of-way acquisition, infrastructure improvement, and municipal projects.

Mr. Duckett graduated with honors from the University of Houston – Clear Lake earning a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Kyle A. Kacal
Vice President - Cypress
GBI Partners Leadership
Kyle A. Kacal, a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, joined GBI in 2010 and became a Partner in 2019. Mr. Kacal works on a wide variety of projects ranging from land title surveys, topographic surveys, and subdivision platting to construction phase support and layout. Mr. Kacal graduated from the University of Texas earning a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Geography.
